Curious if people think the ~250$ is a bargain though for how much work cleaning it myself will be. Local coffee repair place says they'll take a look at it for ~250$ which seems steep to me and so I'm thinking I should do it myself. I have one of the Breville Espresso machine.the manual explicitly states the clean me alert appears after 200 espressos (coincidentally came across that today). I had a friend donate me his old BDB, for which I'm eternally grateful.
